The rewarding experience of working at North Star Oregon: “What I found rewarding about my work at North Star is getting involved in this industry. I already had some experience supporting people in the community, taking them out, having fun, and doing activities with them. Integrating them into the community in a way that mirrors their foster home or family life is incredibly fulfilling. Every Monday through Friday, we have the privilege of helping our clients explore new experiences. Hearing them say, ‘I like this,’ I want to try more of this,’ or ‘I’ve never been here before’ makes it all worthwhile.
